colors on calendar
 
We are using Office 2007. Why is it that our calendar is shaded a light blue
in certain areas where there is no appointments and it is in the normal
working hours?

Outlook has always shaded the working hours like that. All you can do is
set your working hours and set the colour.

Do you have all day events scheduled? Are they set as Busy? Are you using
color categories with busy items?
