Entourage and sharing calendar

On our network we have an Exchange 2000 server and both Windows and Macintosh
clients. We share a calendar in public folders and when accessing the
calendar from Entourage the access rights are not functioning correctly. The
access rights are set to full controll for everyone, however Entourage users
cannot modify items in the calendar. Not even the items created by themselves.
