Default sharing calendar

I have set my Time warner pop3 as my default email in outlook. The calendar
does not offer "share my calendar." I know the answer is that I need to be
using an Exchange server. I thought at home, I could use a pop 3 email.

What is it I need to do so I am using an exchange server and can share my
calendar?

Default sharing calendar

An Exchange Server isn't something you can just decide to use. You need to
have access to one or have one in your house/office. There are some
non-Exchange Server ideas here you might want to look at:

As a home user, it's unlikely you'll want to use an Exchange account, since
Time Warner probably doesn't offer an Exchange server. You'll need to
publish your calendar on the web, See if something here helps:
