Can I delete an attachment to a meeting request that is sent?
 

I sent a meeting request to someone with an attachement. The attachment was
by mistake. I would like to get it deleted so that the person receiving my
meeting request will not be able to read the document. Is this possible?

no, there is no good way to delete it. You can cancel the meeting but that
won't guarantee the meeting will be deleted and the attachment unopened.
