Why is is that I add an appointment with a nice category colour after 19:00
in office 2007 and when I print my calender it does not show the colour? can
anyone help me to rectify this problem

Printing color categories is hit or miss, although I don't recall seeing
this - its usually color or no color.

Which print layout do you use? Have you tried the calendar printing
assistant?
Does you work day end on or before 19:00? If so, that's probably why.
