Default Recurring appointments moving

Our CFO shares his calendar with his secretary. They are currently using
Outlook 2003. He also has an iphone (doubt that matters, but since he
accesses his calendar, I wanted to include). His secretary has noticed that
many of his recurring appointments will move an hour ahead or behind. She
finally deleted those because they were older and created a new recurring VP
meeting for him.

She moved one of them that was scheduled for Wednesday to Friday morning.
She moved that yesterday. This morning she came in and someone asked about
his Friday and she noticed that one she moved yesterday was still on Friday
morning. However, a couple hours later it was back to Wednesday (it's
original time) and no longer on Friday at all.

Same thing happened to another recurring appointment. There is one
scheduled every Monday morning. She went to Memorial Day and moved it to
Tuesday while also including notes. Now, when you look, it's back to Monday
(Memorial Day) and no notes.

We have watched her move these in the past because we thought she was doing
something incorrectly, but it appears it's fine. Any thoughts on what could
cause this? We have never seen this before and we aren't having much luck
with searching the internet.

Thanks in advance!

The problem is with the handheld. The sync is messing the dates up. First
check the device and verify its set for the same time zone as the computer.
Then check the handheld or sync settings to see which device rules if there
is a conflict. It sounds like the iphone is in control so when she changes
them in outlook, the iphone changes them back.
