Hi,
I am creating a meeting in my Public Folder meeting calendar and inviting myself. I want to have the meeting generated from my Public meeting calendar show up in my Personal calendar. I connect to an Exchange 2003 server and am using Outlook 2007. By personal calendar I mean the one in my .pst file located on my local hard drive. What settings do I look at to fix this issue. Thank you in advance. |

You'll need to copy it to the PST calendar unless your PSt is the default
calendar in your profile, then inviting yourself should add it to the calendar. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Hi Diane,
My pst calendar is my default so inviting myself should have worked without doing the "copy to my calendar" step. It did not. Anything else I can look at? Thanks again. It may be related to using a pst as the default - you really should use the
mailbox as the default when you have an exchange acct. Use rules if you need to store mail in a pst but keep the mailbox as the default. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
