Default Internet Calendars in Outlook 2007

I have a Google Calendar in my Internet Calendars section of my Outlook 2007
Accounts. This calendar is updated during the send/receive and works great
with one exception: when I start Outlook 2007 the calendar is by default not
active. I do not use the built-in Calendar under "My Calendars" but instead
only use/need the Google Calendar under "Other Calendars". Can I set up
Outlook 2007 to (a) enable/display my Google Calendar at startup and (b)
disable/do not display the Calendar under "My Calendars"? When I start
Outlook I have already set the start page to Calendars instead of Outlook
Today.

Thanks.

If you mean have the Google calendar selected and the default Calendar
deselected, then no.

you can start outlook in the Google calendar but can't set it as your
default. tools, options, other, advanced - top option. The google calendar
should be under internet calendars.

How did you get the Google calender to show in the internet calenders
section of outlook 2007, and sync? I have not been able to get it to
work. I would appreciate the help much.

Thanks

to get the google calendar into outlook you need to configure it for sharing
in gmail and then add the ics url to tools, accounts, internet calendars.

(if you set it as the folder to start in, in tools, options, other,
advanced, it will be selected when you start outlook. )
