Default How to change an Outlook-2007 recurring task for next occurrences

In Microsoft Office Outlook-2007, I tried to change the details of a
recurring (daily) task for the next occurrences keeping the previous
occurrences unchanged. However, it appeared that I could not do it. For
instance, in Google Calendar, I can do this when the options pop up after
changing a recurring task and trying to save it.

Because a recurring event is a single entry in the calendar, with the
recurrences being calculated from the initial entry and the recurrence
pattern, some things within a recurrence cannot be changed, such as the
category (and color, since it's connected to the category). What is it that
you were trying to change for the specific instance?

Copy the task, end the old one and change the new one to reflect the new
changes.

Damn. Was I off-base here. I misinterpreted the OP's message and got
"calendar" stuck in my head for some reason, instead of tasks.

Default How to change an Outlook-2007 recurring task for next occurren

Thank you Brian for responding. Let me explain with an example: say, two
months ago, I had setup a daily recurring task for "Potential Client
Communication" with duration from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. From today, I want
to change the time for this task with duration from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM but
I want that the duration of the previous ocurances of this tasks will remain
unchanged (obviously because the previous tasks already occured in the
previously set duration). In my original problem statement I gave an example
of how I can do it in Google Calendar, so my question is how can I do this in
Outlook-2007?
