I sent a meeting request to my wife and she said it will not let her accept
it. In the message body it said "GMT offset above does not reflect daylight saving time adjustment". I recently upgraded to Office 2007 on my laptop and home. Neither my home computer or her work computer will accept the request from my laptop. Home and laptop both are completely updated with office updates. I assume my wife's work computer is running exchange or server, not sure. I have tried to download the time zone tool, but it says I have it or a better version. I looked in my office tools folder, but didn't see the time zone tool, so I am confused. How do i resolve this issue, to be able to send meeting requests and appointments? I am able to accept meeting requests from her. |

Do you have your laptop set to the correct time zone and DST setting for
your time zone? What OS do you use on the laptop? In the few other cases I've seen, the users can accept the meeting, they are just warned the time might be wrong. Based on these other reports, it looks like its new to outlook 2007 sp2. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "David" wrote in message ... Thank you, Diane. It seems that worked for the home computer, and now I know
that her work computer has not been updated with the time zone update utility. I figured it was my machine, and it turns out that it is the 2 others. What are the chances? For the record, I though it was your laptop too.
![]() So its caused by the time zones not being correct or updated? That's good to know. It's not a problem we see often so it helps to have the fix. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "David" wrote in message ...
