In 2007, the calendar for Outlook Connector keeps loading my calendar up to
the web. So, I have stopped using it. There is not option that I can see to stop this. So, I am using a calendar in a personal folder. However, there is no option that I find to select this calendar to appear in Outlook Today. I am forced by the configuration, to use the Windows Live calendar. Is this correct? Am I missing something here? I don't want to put my personal information in the 'cloud' and it appears it is being done without my permission. |

FWIW, "the cloud" is just your private mailbox and if you don't share it, no
one else can see it. If you set the default data store to be your local PST (tools, accounts, data tab), the local calendar will be the one used on Outlook Today and also where your new appointments are saved to. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "Functioning Mortal" wrote in message ... The Outlook Connector will not send your default calendar to the server unless you have designated the Hotmail folders to be your delivery location (ToolsAccount SettingsData files). The calendar on Outlook Today will always be your default Calendar. If you don't want your default calendar synched with the Live server, don't make those folders your default, make the local PST the default. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thanks. That was it. I was looking for Calendar option, not Data options.

Thanks Bill. That works. My screen isn't big enough to display the To-do list
with the calendar, so this helps. "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Functioning Mortal" wrote in message ... In 2007, the calendar for Outlook Connector keeps loading my calendar up to the web.
