Default Merging Calendars W/O making copies or duplicates in Outlook 2007

How can i merge 2 calendars in Outlook 2007 without making copies or
duplicates? I have scoured the web and found the 2 most popular methods for
merging calendars but both make "Copy" entries on my destination calendar. I
have tried to select all while in tabular view and paste=Duplicate (Copy),
also have tried to export as a pst and then import also makes copies or
another calendar. Please help.

"Copy" is added to entries copied from Outlook 2007 SP2. The only way I
know to avoid it is to export the second calendar then import it.

What two methods did you try? Where is the second calendar stored? I wonder
if the move to folder command would avoid the problem (I haven't tested it
yet.)

Default Merging Calendars W/O making copies or duplicates in Outlook 2

I tried exporting 2 ways. As a .pst and and as a CSV (DOS). when i tried as a
CSV that method doesnt support recurring meetings. and when i did it as a PST
it added an additional calendar when i tried to import it back into my
preffered destination calendar. The original problem was he had his inbox set
up under personal folders rather than under the mailbox, when i changed that
it started a new calendar under
the mailbox. He still has items that are on the old calendar that arent on
the new. so here i am....i also tried the move to folder option and it netted
the same results. 'copy'

Are the duplicate removers smart enough to remove just the duplicates? And
not every item that says 'Copy'? Any recomendations?

I've never had to use one, but you can find some he

The duplicate removers are more likely to leave the duplicates if the only
difference is the word 'copy'.

This is an exchange account? Did you give it some time (as in at least an
hour) after setting the mailbox as the default? Outlook used to move the
items to the default when you switch between mailbox and pst as the default
delivery location.

Copy the contents of one to the other, then use a duplicate remover
(there are
free ones available).
