When i create a meeting request and the invitees is a Distribution list, when
the users accept the request the show up as optional attendees When I create the meeting request I click on the TO: and select the Distribution list as a required attendee, however when the individuals from the DL accept the meeting request they now appear as optional attendees, the group is still Required Attendees. Environment: Server 2003 R2 with Exchange 2003, Windows XP with Outlook 2003. I have been able to duplicate this on the clients machine, on my PC, on a co-workers PC. Can someone explain why this happens. Thank you, |

That is proper behavior. You are inviting the DL - the members of the DL
respond. If you expand the DL before sending, then it should record the individuals. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: How many email accounts are in your main Outlook profile? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=36602 "ChrisM" wrote in message ...
