Running OE6 with XP Home on a brand new PC in the UK with a connection
through BT - e-mail works fine for most messages but some arrive with the
header but text not showing.... can't understand why!?!?!?

Presumably something in the settings somewhere but nothing obvious (same
configuration was working on the old PC - but unable to access as HD had to
be re-formatted)

The two senders may be using Lotus Notes as their client .... but someone
from the same outfit sent a message I could see.

McAfee Spamkiller is also in operation ... I can see the text in that
program.

Disable McAfee Spamkiller and turn off e-mail scanning. See if that helps.
