changed folders
Hi, have today found that all my sub folders, personal, business etc are
empty, in Outlook Express, and appear to have all moved into the Deleted Items folder. Would the fact that I have recently received a load of Spam, with a Virus WIN32:vb-CD2 (WRM), though it was caught and removed by Antivirus, have any bearing on it?...Rebbo |

It might if you are using an antivirus program and having it set to scan
incoming email messages. See this link for what may have happened: The Other E-Mail Threat: File Corruption in Outlook Express: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/...orruption.mspx To try and recover the messages (assuming they were important), you can try using DBXpress in its Recover from Disk mode: http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/Default.aspx However, the longer you wait, the greater the chance that the space occupied by the missing messages will be overwritten. The cost is small if the messages were important to you (and why else would you be saving them?). -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
