Windows Server 2000 came with IE5 and OE5. When you installed SP2 or SP3 (do not remember exactly) it Upgraded IE to version 6 which in turn changed OE5 to OE6 at that time. You are not able to uninstall OE since it is an integral part of your W2K and IE and therefore you can only remove access to it by removing the Desktop icon for OE -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. http://www.microsoft.com/protect "Gerry" wrote in message ... If you don't want users to use OE, then you can make the inbox readonly and OE then won't start.
