Steve, Thanks for the tip but that is not the problem. But, since you brought the subject up, occasionally when I try to email a hyperlink, I find that the Default Email program has been changed by some unknown reason. It happens only every once in a while, but I wonder that caused it. Is Outlook installed? Do you use it for anything? I don't use Outlook but have thought about it and I think it is probably on
my computer. That makes sense that it might try to hijack my email program if it is installed. Maybe I will just remove it. Tom "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE" wrote in message ... The reason I said I was looking for a way to uninstall IE7 was due to the
fact I could not find IE7 in the Windows XP uninstaller. Having a multitude of problems with IE7 and no way to uninstall it, I reverted back to an image of my system caputered by True Image a months ago. Now all my issues with IE and Outlook Express have been resolved. I did submit an email to Microsoft in regards to the issues I was have with the beta version of IE7. I really appreciate all the input and help that was offered. Thank You, Bill "Jim Pickering" wrote in message ... I don't know what would fix it then if your settings are correct for the

Maybe a change in the registry will fix the problem. Having read a lot of posts in this newsgroup, it appears that this is a problem with several posters who still have not found a resolution to the problem using the information that was provided. I then went through all the procedures that you gave me for the other two user accounts and all the settings were as they had been set under my account. No changes were necessary. The only problem that I had encountered in running through the solutions was in trying to register Mshtml.dll. On all three accounts, the Mshtml.dll would not register. The error message advised "Mshtml was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be registered." I do not know if this is significant or not.
