Default Block domain??

Been getting several spam e-mails with "close to the same" address.
I block email then go to Tool-Msg Rules-Block Sender list and modify (take
out everything on left of @).
Now I'm getting spam from "close to same address" on right side of @.
ex: & ,
etc., etc.

Here's my question- instead of leaving everything to the right of the @ what
happens if I block secure.com? And should I leave in the .com?
IOW- will everything that has "secure" in it be blocked or am I wasting my
time.

thanks for any suggestions,
