Recovering sent messages

I received remote access help from McAfee over the weekend and all of my sent
messages were deleted. They said that they do not touch OUTLOOK so I am not
sure what has happened. Is there anyway to recover sent email? Please keep
in mind that I am not particularly savvy with technology. It would be
helpful to know that it can be recovered. Thank you in advance.
