junk e-mail
Quite often when I get an e-mail from a MAC user it automatically gets into
my junk e-mail box. Is this normal?

Outlook Express doesn't have a junk e-mail box.

If there is a "Junk" folder in Outlook Express than either you created and are using rules to move e-mails to it or you install some unidentified anti-spam program that created the folder and is moving the e-mails to that folder. Or perhaps you think Outlook Express is some light version of Outlook and really meant to ask about Outlook's junk filtering. Outlook and Outlook EXPRESS are two completely different products.
