Default Lost IE6.0

This thing is driving me crazy! For a long time I have been getting error
messages on several pages. Now it will not connect! I hve no problem with
the internet connection as I have no trouble receiving mail or surfing with
Netscape or Firefox. However, I can onliy rarely get ANY page to open under
IE6. I keep getting HTTP 404 Not Found error on many pages I go to. It
only rarely actually logs into a site.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

HijackThis locks up near the end of the scan.

If you have a very large number of sites in Trusted Sites zone, it's not
unusual for HijackThis to appear to "lock up" while it scans those zones.
Be patient.

If no joy, try scanning with HijackThis in Safe Mode
(http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...1052409420406).
