When I click on a web link within an e-mail it won't go to the website. But
if I hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the web link then it will work
properly and go to website. Also, the picture of a letter in the lower right
toolbar isn't working right. It say's I have new mail when I don't or it
say's I have 6 or 8 e-mail's when I only have 2 or 3. Any ideas?

Do you have any rules that send messages to other folders such as Deleted
Items? Or blocked senders ending up there? Any new messages, regardless of
where they go show as new mail.

For the links:

From:
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

If nothing happens when you click a link:
Open Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to {NONE} URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

"Application used to perform this action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome
(Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the
double quotes.)

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have:

#1:
"%1",,-1,0,,,,
#2
IExplore
#3 (blank)

#4
WWW_OpenURL

URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same.

Sometimes it is necessary to uncheck Use DDE.

Outlet express url's wont open

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

3. Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the following message:

DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded.

You probably have a pop-up blocker installed. Depending on the blocker,
it may see opening a link from an e-mail as a pop-up because it opens a
new browser window. Many pop-up blockers let you override the block by
holding down the Ctrl key while clicking the link.

You might also be able to adjust the blocker's settings so that it isn't
as aggressive in blocking pop-ups.
