OE doesn't come with a spell checker but uses the ones included in the
Office programs do you have any of these installed, if not there are free ones available but I don't have the URL's to hand but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to give the information. OE 6 does not come with it's own spell check. You need Word or an MS Office
program. The spell checker in Works 4 through 6 will work with OE, but not other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download a free spell check at one of these sites. http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952 http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/ (Checks the spelling as you type). If you do have an appropriate program, see: Spell Checking does not work in OE: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/spellcheck.htm And: An error occurred while the spelling was being checked or: Spell Check was halted: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=224176 -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Gordon Lacy" wrote in message ...
