How to increase font size in mailboxes
 

I have tried everything to increase the size of the fonts in the
inbox, sent and other mailboxes without success. I have gone to Tools
OptionsRead and clicked on fonts and selected largest but still the
characters in the messages windows along with the contacts etc are
small.

Is there something I am doing wrong - is there is another way to
accomplish increasing font size.

How to increase font size in mailboxes
 

For the size of the message text, just hold down the Ctrl key and give your
mouse wheel a spin.

For text size other than the message body:

Right click on the Desktop | Properties | Appearance | Advanced. In the Item
Field, click the down arrow and chose Icon and make the changes you wish.

This will change the size in some other places as well.

If you mean the message list rather than the message body:
1. Right click a blank spot ton the desktop and choose Properties |
Appearance.
2. If there is an "Advanced" button click that.
3. In the Item drop-down box choose Icon.
4. Change the font size.
5. This will change the font size in all sorts of surprising places.
