OE6 print icon is greyed out ?

Some times I need to print part of an email and recently
discovered the print icon was greyed out?

What I've done for a long time was hit reply ,deleted
the text I didnt need and often widening the gaps between
paragraphs . Hit send and printed this edited version
from the outbox . Then deleted this email
For some reason the print icon is now greyed out ( so is
the print instruction under File ) so cant do that . Only
way recently is to send this edited version to myself
then print it

I can copy and paste to a blank email / word pad etc .
Thats OK for a couple of paragraphs but not its a long
email .........

Is there a way to ungrey this icon ???????????

I hope so ..................

Bye

Hi Frank

Can you please translate .......... what is a Selection
radro button ?????????

I can hi light a paragraph copy print that via word
pad or whatever but cant see how to do more than one
paragraph without a lot of messing about . The way I have
done this for about 6 years worked very well and was easy
to do . Only slight hiccup was if I forgot to delete my
edited version from the out box and inadvertantly sent it
back to who ever sent it to me

This greyed out print icon is being a pesky nusiance

Got to Start/Printers and faxes and make sure that XP is recognizing the
printer. Or, if that's not on the Start menu, go to Control Panel,
Printers and Other Hardware.

Alias , Am not having problem printing anything else
.......... Control panel under printers/faxs reads a tick
in a black circle , Canon Pixma IP3000 O ready , which
means its on line .

I have printed bits of emails like this for a long time
and I am stumped as to why it wont now
I havent knowingly done anything to change any set up
within OE .
Its late in this part of the world
Good night

OE6 print icon is greyed out ?

Print ability is always greyed out when you are in a Compose Message Window.
As Frank indicated, highlight the portions of the *INCOMING* message you
wish to print, then click File/Print (and it will NOT be greyed out) and on
the Print menu page and in the section marked "Page Range" there are 3
choices, All, Selection and Pages. Put a dot in the radio button selection
for *Selection* and you will be rewarded with the sound of printing.

When you want or need to print a message you have composed, you must save it
to the Drafts folder and double click it there to open for Printing. You
cannot print from a new Compose Message window.

Which was :

My apologies

You may have a damaged identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create
a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages from the
old identity and delete it.
