Asked/Answered in IE General late last week. If you must make identical
posts to multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them. OP learned that he could "Block images and other external content..." and
read all messages in Plain Text. He did not manage to "block [only] junk mail where the body of the message is a gif file." -- ~PA Bear www.stillGod.mvp Steve Cochran wrote: Yes, because for every single error an MVP makes, there are 1000 correctly answered questions. Yes I did. Rule that deletes any message that consists of only a gif. file
.. Make the rule "any message that DOES NOT contain a letter of the alphabet (here you enter each letter, one at a time) in the body of the message will do the job. It does what I want anyway. rq "PA Bear" wrote in message ... OP learned that he could "Block images and other external content..." and read all messages in Plain Text. Minor point perhaps but your rule filters out much more than HTML messages
containing embedded GIFs, which is what you posted about. -- ~PA Bear QQQQQ wrote: Yes I did. Rule that deletes any message that consists of only a gif. file . How to block junk mail where the body of the message is a gif
My original question is at the bottom of this message, so what the hell is
your point? As far as I can see, my rule filters out only messages where the body consists of a gif file, and that's the type I want to bounce and that's the question I asked. So you didn't have an anser, get over it. "PA Bear" wrote in message ...
