Get blank message screen
When one person sends me email, there is nothing in the message screen. Only
happens from this one person. She has the same IP that I do, I get emails from others on same IP with no trouble. She'll send an announcement out to about 20 people, and I'm the only one that can't read the email. She has tried to send an email to just me to see if it had something to do with sending to multiple people at once, but to no avail. Any ideas? |

Select one of the messages from her, then look at the Message Source
(Ctrl-F3). Do your see the message text then? Also, look at the headers for a line that says X-Mailer: which identifies the mail program that she is using. By chance, is she sending with Lotus Notes and might you be using SpamKiller? If so, the problem is that SpamKiller corrupts the MIME headers for messages from Lotus Notes. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "RLM" wrote in message ... Thanks Michael, CTRL F3 worked. Yes she's using Lotus Notes, but I had
already disabled Spam Killer to see if that was the cause and still cannot view without doing CTRL F3. As long as CTRL F3 works for her messages, I'm satisfied, unless you know of another solution. One that doesn't involve changing the registry or something equally as drastic! "Michael Santovec" wrote: Select one of the messages from her, then look at the Message Source (Ctrl-F3). Are you sure SpamKiller isn't still processing the messages? If you
look towards the end of header section (before the message text starts), SpamKiller adds some headers of its own. If they are there, then SpamKiller is still the problem. For information on exactly what SpamKiller is doing to the message, see the Problems and Complications section of Decoding Internet Attachments - A Tutorial http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_san...de.htm#problem -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "RLM" wrote in message ...
