Both of those error messages indicate an incorrectly setup mail account
in Outlook Express.

Can you send messages from Outlook Express OK?

If so, then look in OE at File, Identities, Manage Identities. Do you
have more than one identity? Does it say there to use an Identity that
you don't normally use when a program can't ask you? If so, select your
normal identity.

ERROR--inbox- outlook express

Hi D,

The error message appears to tell the tale of bad setup for the account.
Have you paid Yahoo for POP3 access?

The host 'yahoo' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the
server name correctly. Account:** 'Http', Server: **'yahoo',

**Here is says 'Http' for the account yet the account is POP3. Isn't HTTP
the type for MSN Hotmail? Also, the server name in incomplete -- it should
include the domain.

**The server name should be along the lines of mail.yahoo.com.

Protocol:
SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D

The host 'Http' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the
server name correctly. Account: 'Http', **Server: 'Http', Protocol:

**Again, the account name here is very suspect and the server it isn't even
close to a mail server name.

POP3, Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Note: Yahoo provides complete instructions for setting up the account in a
mail client.
