Can't send a CC to my address when posting to a newsgroup - Win 2000

Hello --

I use OE for reading newsgroups.
When I post a message to the newsgroup I want to send a CC to my email
address.

I don't receive that message.

Can anyone tell me what is happening and how I can set up OE so that I
receive the message?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Larry,

I haven't Cc'd myself in the past from a newsgroup. This is only a test to
see the result. One thing you might try is typing your complete e-mail
address on the Cc: line if using auto-complete.

This one's pretty simple to take care of. You will have to post it twice. When you post to a newsgroup, it has to sent as a ****.nws item.
An email address has to be sent as an ****.eml item.

Did you try Tim's suggestion? (Same thing with less work?)

Tim, Janice, and Robert --

Thanks for the info.

I will type in my full address instead of using auto-complete, per Tim.

I prefer OE for reading newsgroups. Using Thunderbird it is simple to cc
myself.
