I can't delete or move messages after I restored XP!

A very vague post. Can you be more specific?

Can you not move messages from *any* folder to another?

If you try to Delete a message in the Inbox, or any other folder, what
happens?

Can you empty the Deleted Items folder?

Your deleted items folder is probably corrupt as well as other folders in
the message store. Go to File | Identities and set up a new Identity and
make sure you do points 2 and 3 he www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx ,and if
things work okay there, then go to File | Import and import from the old
Identity.
