Importing address book

I'd like to import my address book from my desktop to a new networked
laptop. I've exported it to a .wab file on a shared drive on the desktop but
when I try to import the file to the address book on the laptop I get a
message that says an error occured during the import process and the process
cannot be completed. I tried putting the .wab file on a CD and importing it
via the CDROM drive on the laptop but got the same
message.

I would really really appreciate any help!

Thanks,

Maggie

Copy the file from the cd and place it somewhere on your pc's hard drive and
then import it.

Just copy the WAB file from the CD to the Desktop, then right click it and
remove the Read-Only attribute that is set whenever anyone copies a file to
a CD. Then try the import. Bet it will work!

PS: Thumb (USB) Flash drives are great for this as they do not set the
attribute. And networked drives will not work for an import either.
