I just got a new laptop.Is it possible to transfer my address book from my
other computer?

*Open* the old Address Book | File | Export | Address Book (wab) to any
place on your HDD that's convenient for you and copy to a CD, or directly to
a CD. Copy the CD to the new machine and open the new Address Book and File
| Import | Address Book (wab) and point to where you saved it.

If you use a CD, remove the Read Only attribute before trying the import.

You do not have to use a CD.
Flash drive, network, ...... will work.
