Vista Newsgroups don't show
Hmmm...... That sounds familiar. wink
You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and set up msnews in the new identity and see if you can download now, and if the Vista groups show. I you are successful, you can import your email messages from the old identity and delete it, or just keep the new identity for newsgroups. Glad you got it sorted out. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "limeybiker" wrote in message ... Good News, a new identity sorted out the problem. Yes I sorted out the Hijack, thanks very much. I am using msnews.microsoft.com. IE6.1, Outlook Express 6, Windows XP SP2 Would the Vista Newsgroups only be visible IE 7 users.??? I tried a new identity, that didn\'t work. I can use the Vista web news groups, but I don\'t like to use them. -- Ride safe Barry ©¿© "PA Bear" wrote in message ... Vista Newsgroups don\'t show
I tried both and they both worked,
How would you answer that. I have both sets of MS newsgroups, they both work in the new identity, but the Vista ones show in the default identity under news.microsoft -- Ride safe Barry ©¿© Sunny Ocala, FL 34482, USA http://home.att.net/~b.lockyer/index.htm " mac" wrote in message ...
