Hotmail Mail account setup.
Hi
I am unable to add another Hotmail account with my OE. I already have one setup but for some reason, it won't accept my second account. I am setting up the 2nd account exactly as I did the first account. Do you know the reason? How to fix it? Doe OE only accept one Hotmail account setup. Thanks very much |

Is it a paid account?
If you want to use Outlook Express to access your Hotmail account, you must have an MSN subscription. I would recommend against having more than one MSN Hotmail account set up in any one MS Outlook Express Identity. The synchronization of the two accounts gets out of whack, and you start seeing messages, and folders, for one account listed in the other account. Use an additional Identity for each additional Hotmail account. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

The account I have setup currently in OE is not paid.... and I am able to
access it. So how does that work then? Any ideas? I am happy using OE to access my hotmail. I don't have any probs with it at all :)) "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... Is it a paid account? Yes thanks, i have read your links.
The question is that I already have one hotmail account (which I don't pay for) setup with OE. How can that be is you are suggesting that payment is required? "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... As of Sept. 04, Hotmail stopped free access from OE. The exception to date
is if you already had a Hotmail account, you were *Grandfathered in*. That is why you can still access it from your current account. However, to add another account is the same as someone getting a Hotmail account for the first time. You need Hotmail Plus to access your messages through Outlook Express. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "April" wrote in message ... Yes thanks, i have read your links.
