Is there any way to sort your signatures in OE (other than deleting and make
it again) perhaps alphabetically. Any add on? It would be great to have html signatures too. |

You can have hundreds of signatures if you wish. First go to Outlook
Express menu, Tools/Options/Signatures and remove the check box to add signatures to all outgoing messages. Create as many signatures (plain text or HTML as desired although you must save the HTML ones as a "File" ending with the HTML extension. Second step is to open a Compose Message Windows, and right click on the Toolbar, selecting Customize and add the "Signature" button. Now, when you finish composing a message, click on the pull down arrow to the right of the Insert Signature button and select the desired signature. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. I do have many. And the problem is they are not sorted in any way so
it's a real mess to pick up the right one when you have several. "Jim Pickering" escribió en el mensaje ... You can have hundreds of signatures if you wish. The only thing I can think of in that case is to delete them all, close OE
and reopen it and recreate them in the order you wish them to appear. Also, remember you can only use a HTML sig in a HTML formatted message. -- Jim Pickering, MVP-Outlook Express/Windows Mail Please reply to newsgroup only. why not just rename them with appropriate titles that lets you know the
content of the sig? perhaps I've missed something here Richard "zero" wrote in message ... Thanks. That wouldn't help when you create new ones and you need to delete all again ands start over... That would also work. It just depends on how much "work" the original
poster wants to do to achieve his desired end. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. I do rename them but I have too many and they don't follow any
order at all. Even last created are NOT always put at bottom. They are not sorted in any way. So finding the right one takes time too. It would be great if you could sort signatures hierarchicaly or alphabetically. Go to the signatures key in Regedit.
Export the key saving as signatures.reg . Create a backup to signatures.reg . Right click on signatures.reg, Edit (use Notepad).
