in OE6 I cannot enter text or view message text. I cannot click in the
message body area to enter text. After I tab from the subject line the Paste button gets grayed out and there is no cursor in the message body. Incoming messages also display no text in the body. This occurs in both HTML and plain text modes. In HTML the font, etc. toolbar is also grayed out. I have turned off my AVG email scanning (no help). I recently edited my identity to connect from a new ISP (Comcast), I removed the old mail accounts from my old ISP. any step by step instructions for possible fixes appreciated much. |

Yes, as far as I know. OE 6.0 I'll have to get the full version of XP and OE once I get home today as I'm in my office right now. ISP at home is Comcast. They were no help and directed me to these forums. No software from them. "Jim Pickering" wrote: Operating system is...................................? Have you installed the "Comcast Toolbar" or any other software they provide?
Are you getting any error messages? If so, can you provide the complete text of them? And please visit the Microsoft Update page and download all updates marked as "Critical" for your system. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
