Import/export does not handle entries with multiple email addresses
 

I'd like to synchronize my OE address book with my webmail address book (fastmail)

Unfortunately, I could not get OE to either export or import entries that contain multiple email addresses.

How can this be achieved?

The multiple e-mail addresses in an OE contact is of minimal value.
It's best to create a separate contact for each e-mail address with
different names such as
Joe (home)
Joe (work)

Hi Alex,

Michael has given a good response. The other addresses might be maintained
by using vCard files -- if they are supported by the other address book.

Problem solved by exporting webmail addresses in a VCF format and importing to OE.
It did require a bit of manual editing though.
