When I click on an attached .jpg file in OE6, I get a message "this file does
not have a program associated with it........ Create an association..... etc." I checked the file extensions and there is an associated program (Kodak EasyShare) and I am able to open the file anywhere else. This problem just occurred in the last day or so. I have not made any changes (that I am aware of :-) ) or added/installed any programs recently. Any ideas/suggestions/fixes would be appreciated. |

Click on a .jpg attachment and choose Save and save to a folder of your
convenience, (My Documents?). Go to that folder and right click on the .jpg you saved. Choose the appropriate program to open it and then check: Always use the selected program to open this kind of file. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "katzegeleibten" wrote in message ... Bruce, I did as you suggested and was able to open the picture. Thank you.
But why can I no longer open it in Outlook Express? Up until this week, I could? I tried saving to a folder and opening and it worked fine. But I am still
unable to open them IN OutLook Express which I could do up until this week. Is it possible a setting was changed somehow. Check your registry associations for the image file types. See
