If you don't find a .WAB file or you find an empty one, the reinstall may
have overwrote it. Especially if you used the same user account name. Search for *.wab to find the address book. If you don't find it, search for
*~* and if you find something, give it a wab file extension and then click on it and see if it will open. steve "PipeSpinner" wrote in message ... my windows crashed and i had to reinstall windows xp. i did not format the disk, i just reinstalled to a different name. after i got back up i found the mail messages and restored them. i can't find my current address book. can someone help me find and restore it. after this has been done i can backup all files i need and do a clean and fresh install and then restore my emails and address book Thaanks |
