I have the same problem but that read in plain text was NOT checked. Any
other ideas. About 99% of email received have the attachment icon. Thanks for the help. I have tried creating a new inbox and re-importing the messages, but did not work. I also installed SP2, but nothing changed. Any ideas? Are you using AVG by any chance?
Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see: http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Rcm87" wrote in message ... You're welcome. AFAIK, AVG, (a good program IMHO), is the only one that does
this, so we've seen it before. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "rcm87" wrote in message ... Awesome Bruce, that was it. Nice find especially since I didnt even say i was using AVG.
