Default Color 'Hacks' for OE?

You know how in Outlook, it automatically makes your reply nice and blue?

Any way to accomplish this in OE?

I know the standard program doesn't allow this, but are there any fun
hacks/mods/add-ins (a la Thunderbird) that will accomplish this?

I actually prefer OE to TBird... and always liked this feature in Outlook
(NonExpress).

Thoughts?

Honestly, no, 'cause I can't stand Outlook. ;-)

Any way to accomplish this in OE?

Well, if you want your own messages coloured somehow, this can easily
be done using the message rules (Tools). Replies to your messages can
automatically only be marked as watched, colouring in whatever colour
you choose for watched messages (in Tools/Options/Read, default: Red).
See this link here, which I already posted today in the thread next to
yours:

Maybe I didn't install it right, but it skipped HTML messages.

Microsoft is really the only newsgroup I get on ... I am looking for
something for my mail.

But that's the right idea! Thanks

Check its settings. One of the options is to skip HTML messages.
