annoying!!

I am receiving emails off friends where there is part text then a picture
(jpg or gif etc) then text then picture and so on. However where the
pictures should be i am only seeing a box (the size of the pic) with a red x
in the top left hand corner. The pictures are available to see but they are
all at the very end of the email.

how can i rectify this please?

thanx in advance

Clear the TIF and see if it helps.

START | Control Panel | Internet Options
Delete Files button
Check the box to Delete Offline Content
Click OK

Also clear ALL the Temp folders, there is one in the Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings as well as Windows folder.

Then reboot.

Also see if the messages are linked. If they are linked, you may have the
option set to block linked images under Tools | Options | Read. Try turning
on and off that feature when reading a mail and see if that works.
