Alias
that is the way I tried compacting and that results in an error message after a few minutes.. Hank... ... I tired that and I got the same result, thye won't compact. Transferring all my keepers is too big a job. You may have a corrupted identity. Make a new identity in OE and import all
of your messages from the old identity. After making sure everything works in the new identity you can delete the old identity.
