My wife has picked up an interesting problem recently - when she sends an
email with an attachment of type .wma, .wmv or .mp3, the message does not get sent according to the send/receive dialogue, and reports an error. However, there is no error listed in the error box. The message does NOT appear in the sent items folder, but remains in the outbox folder until manually deleted. What happens at the recieiving end is that multiple instances of the email and attachement are received (up to 7 messages with a 4mb attachment). SO she doesn't know if they've been sent, and receives an error message, but multiple messages are received by the recipient. Normal messages and messages with simple attachements (.jpg, .gif) are handled as normal, with no problems. Am I overlooking something simple, or is there something I need to do? |
