IE 7 and Outlook Express
I downloaded Internet Explorer 7 before realizing I also needed Outlook
Express. I cannot download IE6 which contains Outlook Express because I get a message that I have a later version. Is there a future fix for this in place? Where can I get Outlook Express by having Internet Explorer 7 |

What is your Windows version? What was the reason for downloading IE7?
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer 6, (not 7), and they both are part of your OS. Did IE6 and OE6 ever work? Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components. I have windows XP Media Edition Service Pack 2. I downloaded IE7 to get the
latest and greatest version of the browser. IE6 did work, but OE6 would reset everytime I would log off of my ID. I just attempted to uninstall version 7 and reinstall 6 however I kept getting an error message saying that I had a later version and could not reinstall 6 "Bruce Hagen" wrote: What is your Windows version? Installing IE7 Beta3 doesn't affect Outlook Express (6).

Please expand on "OE6 would reset everytime".

Wrong -- you downloaded beta software. Microsoft makes this very clear on its website.
