Outlook Express & Internet Connection
 

When I open outlook express 6.0 whilst I have the internet ( tiscali ) open,
outlook opens but automatically closes the internet connection. Any ideas ??

Tools, Options, Connection, uncheck Hang-up after sending and receiving.

Check your settings in Outlook Express at Tools, Accounts, Mail/News,
Properties, Connection for each mail and news account. One or more of
the accounts may be set to always dial a specific connection. Also look
at Tools, Options, Connection for Hang up after sending and receiving.

Do this for each account:
Tools | Accounts
Double click the account. On the connection tab uncheck "Always connect to
this account using".

I just am having the same problem. Were you able to find out why this
is happening, and how to correct it?
