If you save it to Drafts and view in the Preview Pane, does it work now? It
won't work while you are still in a new message window. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Cheryl" wrote in message ... When I copy & paste a web link from IE into OE, the link cannot be opened.-- What is wrong? Cheryl |

Yes that works. If I forward an email with a link in the message, can the
receiver open the link or do I need to save it to Drafts first and then send it. Thanks for your response. You're welcome. Just send it. Send one to yourself and you'll see. It just
doesn't work in the message while you are creating it. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Cheryl" wrote in message ... Yes that works. I sent one to myself as you suggested...I am always amazed each time I learn
something new. -- Cheryl "Bruce Hagen" wrote: You're welcome. Just send it. Send one to yourself and you'll see. ... When I copy & paste a web link from IE into OE, the link cannot be opened.-- What is wrong? Cheryl There is a good reason why links do not work in the composition window. If they did, and you wanted to edit a link, when you clicked inside the link to edit it it would open the link in IE. (Not everything in OE has a good reason.) -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Please reply in newsgroup. Do NOT send email. |
