I know this might seem a little petty but when oe has finished downloading my
email massages i used to get a little ding sound, but now i dont any ideas |

Control Panel | Sounds | New Mail Notification is where you set the sound.

Tools | Options | General. Check: Play sound when new messages arrive.
If it is checked already, then: Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices | Sounds. ![]() i tried all that, when i go to sounds and audio devices whatever sound i chose i recieve a error message, windows cannot play C:\windows\media\windows xp ding.wav.your soundcard may be in use "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Tools | Options | General. It could be a bad soundcard, but this in not really in my area. Keep
checking back. Try reinstalling the drivers for the sound card from Device Manager.
