Message not appearing
 

When i post a message in a newsgroup it says message sent,but it does'nt
show up in the newsgroup i posted it in.
Any ideas how to fix this ?

It doesnt always work.
Sometimes it doesnt show up

View | Current View. Checked should be Show All Messages and Group Messages
By Conversation.

Look at Tools, Messages Rules, Blocked Sender list to make sure that you
aren't blocking yourself.

Also check the News Message Rules to see if anything there might be the
issue.

It's also possible that the news server initially accepted the post
(telling OE that it was received) but later rejected the message because
it did not follow rules for that news server. These could include using
HTML, attachments, amount of quoted text, excessive cross posting, etc.
The news server administrator can make up whatever rules he wants.

Tools Options Read Download XXX messages at a time: Increase this to 1,000 or simply uncheck the option.

In case the post ends up grouped under an existing thread
I would say *uncheck* Group Messages by Conversation.

That would have two helpful effects:
1. it would temporarily nullify thread contraction
which can otherwise make grouped messages impossible to find
using Shift-F3 type finds.
2. assuming the sort order was chronological (e.g. by Sent)
it would position the message in a more understandable place
e.g. among the newest messages.
