Norton System Works
I have located missing files in Norton's UnErase Wizard and have requested
that they be recovered. The message I received is that those files have been restored. I thought that they should be in my Documents only they are not there. Could you please help me find them. Also, I have received some Photographs which are now in my Inbox. Can I export them to my Documents or Import them from my Documents? I am aware that my questions are elementary to most, however, I am finding it extremely difficult at my age to teach myself new things i.e. my computer. Please have patience with me. Thanks for all the help you have offered, I truly appreciate it. Punky |

Unerase programs don't often work very well. If you remember the names of
the files then you can try searching for them and seeing if you can then find them. Norton also causes many problems for people, so you might talk to someone who has some computer expertise to help and make things work better. steve "Frema Luther" wrote in message ... It's been my experience that the files are recovered TO the same place they were deleted from. There is however an option to give it a different location. Also, I have received some Photographs which are now in my Inbox. Can I export them to my Documents or Import them from my Documents? Export and import are the wrong words here. You can COPY or MOVE the pics from any folder to any folder you wish. Using Windows Explorer, highlight the pic you want to more, and then Right click your mouse button and choose CUT (to move) or COPY (to paste), then go highlight the new location for the pic, and highlight it, press the Right moust button again, and click on PASTE. The picture you just CUT or COPIED will then be pasted to that new location. If that doesn't help enough, come back and ask again. Lots of people here to help. They might direct you to a different newsgroup, too; this isn't really the best one for your question but nothing wrong either, really. Read up on Copy and Cut and Paste in the Help and Support area. Click Start, then Help & Support. Pop` I am aware that my questions are elementary to most, however, I am finding it extremely difficult at my age to teach myself new things i.e. my computer.
